Multi Purpose Acrylic Putty For Gypsm & Various Surfaces

FAP GYPSUM JOINT COMPOUND is high viscous water base putty on based on special type emulsion & modifiers. It is suitable for horizontal & vertical gypsum surfaces. Recommended to use for filling holes and leveling gypsum surfaces for interior applications, after proper surface application.

Properties

FAP GYPSUM JOINT COMPOUND is made from a selected blend of polymers and graded fillers. It has the following properties.

Technical Data

Product : Ready-mixed quick drying filler of inert extenders,

Binder : Vinyl co-polymer.

Fillers : Precisely graded marble.

Dilution : Water if required.

Average Consumption : 0.5-1.5kg/m2, depending on substrate conditions. Density :1.70

Application : By spatula.

Colour : White

Packaging : 5kg and 28kg plastic pails.

Storage 12 months in original unopened containers

Preparation of surface

Ensure that dust, dirt and foreign matter are brushed away. Ridges and form oil must also be removed. When applying FAP GYPSUM JOINT COMPOUND to old painted surfaces, first wash down with soda/water solution, rinse and allow to dry before application of FAP GYPSUM JOINT COMPOUND. Fix self adhesive fiberglass tape to board joints.

Application & Cleaning of tools

Apply FAP GYPSUM JOINT COMPOUND in a thin layer and allow to dry. Apply a second coat, if necessary to achieve full leveling. Lightly sandpaper over the dry final surface before painting preferably within 24 hours of application.

Clean tools and equipment with water after use.
